Chestnut gel – Aesculus Hippocastanum

For persons with varicose veins​

Therapeutic gel for people suffering from varicose veins. Horse chestnut is a relatively young medicinal plant. It appeared on our territory at the end of the 17^th century. The active substances of chestnut are aescin, aesculin, flavonoid glycosides and tannins. The parts used are the flower, the fruit, the seeds and the young bark. Aescin has a strengthening effect on the venous walls and increases their flexibility, helps to reduce swelling. The gel is suitable for application to soothe the skin in the area of hemorrhoids.

Instructions for use: Apply gently onto desired area several times a day. Never massage with too much pressure. Do not apply to mucous membranes and open wounds. To increase the effect, apply a larger amount of the product to the area, bind and leave it to act for extended time (e.g. overnight).
